HITTING THE SNOWMOBILE TRAILS
After using Schweitzer's 6-minute summit lift, 6 drivers, with or without passengers, and 1 certified guide drop into thousand of acres of a private and state owned forest. We snowmobile primarily groomed logging roads between 15-25mph. The average pitch is 10-15 degrees. You'll get between 10- 25 miles and achieve from 6,000 to 10,000 vertical feet given weather and group dynamics. Moose, deer, bunnies and all sorts of critters, including Grizzley Bear (don't worry their hibernating!) live back here. Let Russ or Chad show you around these big woods by snowmobile!

SNOWMOBILING ABILITY
You don't need any experience to go on our snowmobile tours.
If you have a valid drivers license or permit* you can drive these snowmobiles.
* Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

ECO-FRIENDLY SNOWMOBILES
Our Arctic Cat 4-stroke snowmobiles are "Gold-wing like" 2-rider touring models; non-smelly, super user-friendly,
very quiet and comfortable.

RESERVATIONS, LOCATION and FINAL REGISTRATION
After calling 1 866 Go Idaho to book your tour, you'll meet our registration folks at our sales office in the Lakeveiw Lodge, right in the heart of Schweitzer's Village. Derek and Mike will check you in and out, making sure you have the proper clothing and take care of any last minute questions before giving you a special lift ticket for Schweitzer's Great Escape 4-person chairlift. The lift (comes with instructions and attendants!) will deliver you 1700 feet to the top of Schweitzer Mountain.

Summit Lodge
We have our own lodge at the summit of Schweitzer, 100 yards from the Great Escape chairlift; it's really snug and warm. We store our snowmobile fleet in heated semi-trailers that located under our lodge. Upat the lodge we will fit you with a provided snowmobile helmet and make final preparations for hitting the snowmobile trails!

Schweitzer SLOPESIDE and Sandpoint Accomodations
With the Sellkirk Powder Company operating from Schweitzer our guests have become very accustomed to our easy access back to Schweitzer's laid-back village; 2 hotels, 400 condos, 4 bars, 5 restaurants and the blessed masseuses from Soltice. With Sandpoint only 20-minutes down the access road, more accomodations, awesome eateries and supplies can be obtained for your stay!
